Endodontics
The endodontics clinic is where root canal treatments are carried out. Teeth whose pulp has been damaged by deep caries, infection at the root tip, trauma or similar causes can only be preserved with root canal treatment.
- Root canal treatment may be completed in a single visit or, in some cases, may take 4–5 visits.
- Root-canal-treated teeth should be checked at regular intervals.
- Both hand instruments and rotary instruments are used.
- Treatments are carried out by endodontic specialists and dentists.
After the first examination, patients are placed on the waiting list by the dentist; appointments are then booked via MHRS (182 or www.mhrs.gov.tr).
