WASTE MANAGEMENT UNIT
The Waste Management Unit manages the separation, collection, temporary storage and delivery to licensed companies of medical, hazardous, domestic and recyclable waste generated in our hospital, in accordance with the relevant regulations.
Duties
- Ensuring and inspecting the separation of waste at source by type
- Safe collection, transport and temporary storage of waste
- Keeping waste records and monitoring delivery to disposal companies
- Carrying out Zero Waste practices and informing staff
