Endodontics
Endodontics is the clinic where root canal treatments are performed. Teeth whose pulp has been damaged by deep caries, infection or trauma can only be preserved with root canal treatment.
- Root canal treatment may be completed in a single visit or, in some cases, may take several visits.
- Root-canal-treated teeth should be checked at regular intervals.
- Treatments are carried out by endodontic specialists and dentists, using hand and rotary instruments.
After the first examination, patients are placed on the waiting list by the dentist; appointments are then booked via MHRS (182 or www.mhrs.gov.tr).
